Almost a year later, the Apploi developer team found themselves back in Medellin. The award winning city recognized by some of the largest organizations is home to hundreds of tech companies, employing over 8,000 professionals. It’s become known as the Latin America Silicon Valley.

The main reason for the team’s return was PyCon Colombia 2020. PyCon is the largest annual gathering for the community using and developing the open-source Python programming language.
